FIREARM DEER PERMITS (Shotgun, Muzzleloader, Late-Winter and CWD)
2010 Season Dates:?November 19, 20, 21 (first season)?December 2, 3, 4, 5 (second season)

Notice: October 19 – Remaining Random Daily Drawing County Permits will be sold over the counter on a first come, first serve basis. Permits will be sold until quotas are exhausted or until the close of the firearm season.

MUZZLELOADER – ONLY DEER PERMITS
Season Dates: ?Dec 10, 11, 12 and Dec 2, 3, 4, 5 (second firearm season)

ARCHERY DEER PERMITS
Season Dates:
October 1 – January 16 in Cook, DuPage, Lake and portions of Kane County east of State Route 47. October 1 – January 16 in all other counties except that archery hunting is CLOSED November 19, 20, 21 and December 2, 3, 4, 5 for the two firearm deer seasons. Hunters must wear blaze orange during the Youth Season October 9, 10, the December 10, 11, 12 Muzzleloader season and the Late-winter and CWD Seasons (December 30 – January 2 and January 14 – 16, 2011).
Non-Resident Archery Dates and Fees:
2010 Non-Resident Archery Deer online lottery application – will go live June 1. ?You can apply for your lottery permit via the internet. DNR Direct Online License Sales or by phone at 1-888-6PERMIT (1-888-673-7648)
Non-residents are only allowed one combination archery permit per season. Antlerless only permits for $25.50 will be available throughout the season over the counter at local license agents, by phone or by internet. If ordering by phone or internet, your permit will be mailed to you within 7 to 10 business days.
The cost of a Non-Resident Archery Combination Deer permit (one either-sex/one antlerless) will be $410. The quota will be 25,000 for Non-Resident combination tags.
The cost of a Non-Resident Archery Antlerless Deer permit (available over the counter) will be $25.50 and there is no quota.
Non-resident archery deer permits issued to outfitter clients who received a permit based on the preference given to outfitter clients are valid only on property controlled by the outfitter used to gain preference

License Requirements:
DO NOT PURCHASE A LICENSE UNTIL YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY OBTAINED A PERMIT – REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED!! These prices do not reflect convenience fees that may be incurred
Non-Resident:?In addition to a valid deer hunting permit hunters are required to purchase either a 5-Day (35.75) OR Annual (57.75) Hunting License AND a Habitat Stamp (5.50).
All Hunters: ?Only one annual license and habitat stamp is required to hunt for the entire 2010 deer season regardless of the number or type of permits held by a hunter. 2010 Licenses are good until March 31, 2011.

YOUTH EITHER SEX FIEARM DEER HUNT (Residents and Non-Residents)
Season Dates: ?October 9 & 10
2010 Youth Either Sex Firearm Deer Permits will be sold over-the-counter at any license vendor starting August 3rd until the end of the Youth Deer Season, October 10th. Youth Deer hunters are limited to one Youth Deer Permit per season. The cost of a Youth Either Sex Firearm Deer Permit will be $10.50. If ordering by phone or internet, the permit will be mailed to your within 7 – 10 business days.

LATE WINTER FIREARM SEASON (Handgun, Shotgun, Muzzleloader/Antlerless-Only)
Season Dates: ?December 30 – January 2 and January 14-16, 2011
Application dates (Residents and Non-Residents)?Permits will be available over-the-counter at local license agents in mid December. The cost for a Late-Winter Permit will be $17.50.
CWD SEASON (Handgun, Shotgun, Muzzleloader/Antlerless-Only)
Season Dates: December 30 – January 2 and January 14 – 16, 2011 ?CWD Counties: Boone, DeKalb, Kane (W of Rt. 47), McHenry & Winnebago.

Non-Resident Property Only Hunting (NR-POH) = Landowner/shareholder/limited liability company member/income trust beneficiary (39.5 acres or more)
